Are you planning to do international service work for the first time? The International Service Preparation
Series (ISPS) will begin to prepare students to think about the complicated issues they may face abroad, and help them to explore
important issues related to international work in a supportive
setting. The series was designed and developed by Harvard students who
have been forging partnerships in Nicaragua over the past 4 years,
though workshop content will draw on a larger wealth of experiences
abroad as well as case studies. These workshops will cover topics
including:
-Working with Communities
-Project Development in Partnership with Communities
-Avoiding Paternalism
-Case Studies in Development
